You Are a Blessing Given to Other People!

1. We All Belong to Other People!

Let’s examine in what ways we belong to other people!
Because each and every one of us is a blessing God gave to other people!
Because each and every one of us is a gift God gave to the world!
Because everything we do profits not only us, but ultimately, other people!
Because our professions aim first and chiefly at serving other people! Because whatever is our work is our contribution to a better humanity!
Because other people depend on us in some way, for their own wellbeing!

2. Other People Depend on us for Something!

Just as we ourselves depend on other people for the most of our needs, other people also depend on us for one or another of their own needs. It is in this sense that each and every human being is a gift and a blessing God gave to mankind; as well as a type of a functionary God sent into the world to accomplish a given purpose. In fact, God gave different persons different abilities, gifts and skills, according to the different needs of different peoples in the world. Thus, the first purpose of our various professions is not to make money. The fundamental purpose of our potentials is to serve the needs of people. In like manner the first purpose of our profession is not to serve ourselves. But to serve other people, to solve their problems and provide their needs. No one becomes a teacher, trader, lawyer, priest, etc, just to serve himself. No one becomes a soldier or warder, a pilot or a poet, just to serve himself.

3. Other People are the Reason for our Gifts and Professions!

The core purpose of our crafts or careers is to relieve the exigencies of men. Helping ourselves and making money are the secondary motives of work. That’s why people don’t just do what gives money, but what they love. That’s why different people have different drives or passions deep in them. That’s why we are encouraged to follow our natural passions, not money. Your passion is your area of calling to serve the needs of other people. It is called passion or inclination or interest or gift or talent or skill or drive. It is from these drives that people usually trace their profession or vocation. It is from these drives that people usually gain their work or duty in society. No one gives it to himself or herself, God places it deep within our being. It is basically a gift given to humanity, given to other people, through you. We should care about other people because we are a blessing given to them. Just as a child is a blessing given to a couple, to a family and to a community, each of us is a blessing given to both our nuclear and our human family. We all belong to other people!

4. Everyone Has a Purpose and a Place of Duty

Let’s examine the reality of the purpose and post of everyone on earth! Because everyone has a blessing in him or her for the earth!
Because everyone has a purpose to fulfil for the good earth!
Because everyone has a duty post, a position and a role to play on earth!
Because every creature on earth is a deliberate and purposeful action!

5. Every Human Being is a Purposeful Being!

Unlike other creatures, man is a purposeful being — each and every one! But even other creatures are all purposeful creatures. But while other creatures serve collective purposes, each and every human being has a personal and unique purpose. Only human beings are persons! Only human beings possess individuality! Only human beings possess a conscious soul! Yet, no one and nothing is without a purpose on earth. Every creature has a purpose — collective or individual! Every human has a individual purpose! Every human has a gift! Every human is a gift! Every human is a blessing! No one and nothing is without a good in him or in it. Everyone is a gem. No one or nothing on earth is a misstep or a misadventure. Everything is purposeful. Everyone has a destiny to accomplish for the good of everyone.

6. Every Human Being is on a Mission on Earth!

Everyone on earth is on mission and has a blessing to offer to the world. Everyone’s location is also connected to his purpose and his place of duty. Why did God create the swamps and put some people there to master it? Why did God the forests of the Amazons and the special custodians of it? Why is it some men are skilled for the mountains and others for the seas? Why are some men bored by history but are drenched with mathematics? Why do some women fear blood but do not fear to fly Boeing into the sky? White or black alike, why do the inclinations of sportsmen differ from those of poets? Why do the climates differ? Why does the tropical differ from the temperate regions? Why are there people who have no interest in politics, even though they know that other people feed fat from politics? The greatest treasures of creation are hidden in the potentials of humans. Given the push, everyone can make a beneficial impact upon humanity.

7. Everyone Has a Unique Duty Post on Earth!

In the same way, everyone has a place of duty, a place of destiny, they need to reach. In the north or south or east or west, in Africa or Asia or America or Europe If we help others to reach their place of destiny, we will reap their fruits. If we help others to fulfil their purpose on earth, we’ll enjoy their vintage. But if we deny others the push and chance they need, we’ll lose their fruits. If we deprive others or write them off, everyone will lose their blessing. Everything called innovation or invention we enjoy in the world today are simply the fulfilment of purpose and the actualisation of innate potentials. Everyone carries his own within. Horace Mann says: “Be ashamed to die until you have won some victory for humanity.” Our world will be better if we will commit to helping each other attain purpose; if we will commit to aiding people to reach their duty posts and fulfil their purpose on earth. Such a ‘favour’, one thinks, is one that mankind everywhere should readily grant to itself.
